It's a very tense situation in Turkey after the failed military coup that wanted to remove Tayyip Erdogan from his office. Turkish president has already taken several measures against all the people involved in the coup and has asked to the United States the extradition for Fethullah Gulen, the alleged creator of the coup.
Also Enes Kanter, Thunder's big-man, received several death threats via Twitter because he has always been an opponent of Erdogan and he defended Gulen's position. Kanter used his Twitter profile to express all his disappointemnt in seeing this kind of reaction from his fellow countryman. Some of the messages say: 'You will die soon' or 'You'll be executed'
