Michael Finley is trying to comeback in the NBA. The experienced player talked to Basketusa about his return to the court admitting that Tony Parker offered him to play in France for ASVEL Villeurbanne.
"At the beginning of the season, the Dallas Mavericks offered me a spot at the training camp but I got injured. Other teams are interested in me, I am just waiting for one of them to make the right offer to me. I have spoken with Tony Parker and he offered me the chance to play for his team in France. But my family and my children are in Dallas. I may go for a month, if it is ok for him. I had no offer yet to play but my agent is in contact with 5-10 teams. I cannot reveal the names, I can just say that 5 of them are qualified for the playoffs at the moment. I hope to return to the NBA as a player. But I won't have the chance, I'd like to stay in the NBA as GM or to work for a franchise".
