As confirmed by some sources close to the situaton, Olimpia Milano agreed to terms with Wilson Chandler.
Chandler will sign for few months, at least until the Euroleague First Stage will end and make around $500k. Milano turned its attention to Chandler because the team was afraid of their thoug group.
At the end of the first months, the two parts will evaluate the situation also considering how the lockout in NBA evolves.
The free agent forward started last season with New York Knicks averaging 16.4ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.7apg in 51 games before the blockbuster trade which sent him to Denver Nuggets (along with Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton and Timofey Mozgov) and Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups to the Big Apple. With Nuggets, Chandler, who has a 4 year experience in NBA, has played 21 games scoring 12.5 points, grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing 1.6 assist.
Former product of De Paul has played 254 games in NBA (199 in the lineup) recording averages of 13.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
