Benetton Treviso officially announced the signing of E'Twuan Moore from Purdue University. The guard was selected by Boston Celtics in the 2011 NBA draft with the 55th overall.
Moore signed for one year with Treviso. In his senior year in NCAA, Moore averaged 18ppg, 5.1rpg and 3.2apg in 34 games. The guard will be in Treviso on August 16th of the training camp.
"We are excited for his signing. He was selected by Boston Celtics and that's mean that the player is valid. He reminds me Bootsy Thornthon" said Claudio Coldebella, GM of Benetton Treviso.
UPDATE: As reported by Chris Forsberg from ESPN on Twitter: The contract has an NBA out, as confirmed by Mark Bartelstein. Moore's camp is extremely appreciative of Treviso's flexibility with the out clause. They realize Moore's dream is to play in the NBA. Moore will have a small window of time to terminate contract when and if NBA lockout ends.
UPDATE 2: E'Twuan Moore, as reported by Sam Amick from SI.com, will get approximately $200.000 if he will finish the entire season with Benetton Treviso.
