Kyle Weaver, according to a source close to the situation, is not so close to Maccabi Tel Aviv, as reported in the morning by Krem.com.
"If anything he is much closer to signing with the Knicks or someone like that than Maccabi" wrote the source.
Former Thunder player is furious because he has not agreed with any team yet. The rumors could hurt Maccabi's chances at signing him.
A former second round draft pick by the Charlotte Bobcats, Weaver was traded to Oklahoma City where he spent two seasons. He averaged just 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 68 career NBA games.
